In acknowledgment of the challenges confronting many nations, this theme underscores the integral role of school libraries in fostering connections, collaboration, and engagement within their communities. It emphasizes how school libraries serve as catalysts for building stronger, more cohesive communities, thereby contributing to the overall well-being and success of society.

• Promote Literacy: ISLM aims to raise awareness about the importance of literacy and reading in education. By highlighting the role of school libraries, we advocate for the development of essential literacy skills among students of all ages.
