GiggleIT is a Cybersafe Project

GiggleIT is a project designed to help schools teach reading and writing in a fun and meaningful manner. The International Association of School Librarianship (IASL) will host and publish students' work on the GiggleIT website. However, in order to make this a cybersafe project, the following rules apply. 

• Photographs and pictures/designs must not contain images of children where the children can be identified.
  
  
• Writings and pictures/designs will only contain a child's initials and school name.
  
  
• The safety of our contributors is paramount at all times. Child authors are recognized by initials only.
  
  
• When sending in student work for publication on the web site, please follow these simple rules and use this as a teaching moment to discuss cybersafety with your students.
