We would love to see how schools are celebrating their international reading connections.
Participating schools may:
invite students to present their book reviews during school assemblies;
display received reviews on library or classroom bulletin boards;
feature the exchange in school newsletters;
showcase the project on the school website;
share appropriate photographs or updates through social media; and
submit a short report about their experience for the “What Others Are Doing for ISLM” webpage.
When sharing photographs or student work publicly, schools should follow their own safeguarding, privacy, and consent policies.
Schools are encouraged to document the exchange and reflect on what students learned from the experience.
A short report might include:
the participating schools and countries;
number and age group of students;
books or authors featured;
how the reviews were exchanged;
what students discovered;
photographs or examples of student work; and
reflections from teachers, librarians, or students.
Selected contributions may help showcase the diversity of ISLM activities taking place around the world.
