The International School Library Month (ISLM) 2026 International Poster Making Contest is now open!
We invite students from around the world to celebrate the power of libraries, literacy, creativity, and innovation through art.
Libraries, Literacy and Artificial Intelligence
Participants are encouraged to create original posters exploring how libraries, reading, and Artificial Intelligence are shaping learning, creativity, global citizenship, and the future of knowledge.

Students worldwide in the following age categories:
Original artwork only
Handmade posters using traditional art materials
Submit a scanned copy in JPEG or PNG format (minimum 300 dpi)
Include a brief description of your poster (maximum 100 words)
No AI-generated artwork
No copyrighted characters or images
No photographs, digital artwork, or 3D objects
Entries submitted as photographs or low-resolution images will not be accepted.
Participants may submit a short video (up to 2 minutes) introducing themselves, their school and country, and explaining the inspiration behind their poster.
Selected videos may be featured on ISLM platforms and social media.
Submission Deadline: 15 August 2026
All entries will first undergo national selection before advancing to international evaluation by an expert jury.
